If you are looking for a quiet holiday then Green Park is definitely not for you. This is a thriving, buzzing complex which is absolutely ideal for families, or those who just want some fun. The children will simply adore the swimming pools with chutes to slide down from one pool to the other, along with some adults too, especially Dads!
There are so many facilities on this complex such as the ‘Sundowners Bar’ featuring Kareoke nights, a quieter bar for a relaxing drink and ‘La Corbetta’ bar where they often put on shows, bingo, flamingo dancing, barbecue evenings etc and also serve food. There is also the Caddyshack snack bar where you can buy a delicious breakfast, snacks and meals, La Mon Lodge Restaurant for your upmarket evening meals and a Buffet Bar. You will also find a Launderette on site and the ‘9th Hole’ a large supermarket along with a car hire office.
Just across the road there is an Irish bar ‘Grandee O’Donnells’ with entertainment every evening and ‘The Lansdowne’ where it is reported to be the best restaurant on the Golf del Sur. Other facilities on Green Park include a children’s play park, a games room and a multi-use court for either tennis, football, badminton etc. There are 3 swimming pools, a large pool, a smaller heated pool and a children’s pool. These are on three different levels, and there is plenty of room to spread out on the sunbeds around the pools.
This two bedroom Apartment is bright, airy and spacious. It attracts the sun in the afternoons and evenings, making the balcony which overlooks the swimming pools, a lovely place to sit during the evening with a few drinks. There are two twin bedrooms and an extra bed is provided for the 5th person. It is equipped with a comfortable corner style settee, satellite television and a radio/cd/cassette player. The Apartment is on the second floor and there is a lift. There is a telephone in the Apartment for receiving incoming calls only, and we can provide details should you require incoming calls whilst on your holiday.
Golf del Sur's 27 Hole Golf Course and Club House is within short walking distance of Green Park. The main shopping centre, a 15-minute walk away, boasts many shops, a doctor and chemist, restaurants of all nationalities and bars that provide evening entertainment. However, most people who come to Green Park hardly venture off the complex due to the many activities and facilities it has to offer.
One point that should be mentioned is that there is noise from aircraft flying over, but it doesn’t seem to bother people too much as many of them come back to Green Park year after year.
