Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands located just off the Northwest coast of Africa, in the Atlantic Ocean. The islands are better known as the "Islands of Eternal Spring" because of the temperate climate throughout the year.

The Lora Parque has 400 aviaries, containing cockatoos, guacamayos, multi-coloured amazons and parrots. Many are free to fly around the park. There are chimpanzees, crocodiles and elegant flamingos, plus many more attractions.

Playa de Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are situated on the south west of the island. A sun-kissed bay. Los Cristianos is one of the best equipped tourist villages on Tenerife with shops, banks, bars, boutiques etc. The ferry boats offer a daily service to San Sebastian de la Gomera, or you can take the sea-jet. You can also visit the island of El Hierro.
